These Terms and Conditions (hereafter “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Evi platform (hereafter the “Platform” or the “Service”), including the website, mobile app, and all associated services provided by Evi (collectively referred to as the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Please read these Terms carefully and review them periodically, as we may modify them at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Evi Platform in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any future modifications. You also acknowledge that your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Evi may, at any time, modify these Terms, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Evi provides a platform for mental health support, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Evi AI, an AI-powered companion designed to offer general support related to mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety, and loneliness.
- Access to peer support spaces, where users can connect with others facing similar challenges in a supportive environment.
- Multilingual support to ensure accessibility across different regions, allowing communication in your preferred language.
The Platform is designed to facilitate emotional support and community engagement, but it is not a substitute for professional therapy, psychiatric services, or medical advice. Evi is not a licensed healthcare provider, and no part of the Service should be construed as providing medical or psychological diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
3. User Eligibility
To use the Evi Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during the registration process.
- Use one of our secure sign-in methods:
- Phone number (no password required)
- Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In
We do not require passwords, offering a secure and user-friendly approach to account access. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately. Evi will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to secure your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these eligibility criteria or are found to provide false information.
4. What Evi Does Not Do
While Evi offers mental health support, we do not provide clinical therapy or psychiatric treatment. The following limitations apply:
- Evi is not a healthcare provider. We do not provide diagnoses, treatments, or medication recommendations.
- Evi is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you are in crisis, you must seek help from a licensed professional or call emergency services.
- Evi is not equipped to provide emergency mental health support.
- Evi AI and peer groups are not licensed counselors. Any advice, information, or support provided is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered medical guidance.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge these limitations and agree that you will not hold Evi responsible for any outcomes related to your mental health based on information obtained through the Service.
5. Account Registration and Security
When creating an account with Evi, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information.
- Secure your account by keeping your sign-in method private.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
While we prioritize security, you are responsible for safeguarding your access credentials. Evi will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
6. Payment and Subscription
Evi offers both free and paid subscription options to make mental health support accessible and affordable.
Subscription Fees
- Monthly Subscription: $9.99 USD per month
- Yearly Subscription: $99.99 USD per year (billed annually)
Terms of Subscription
- Billing: Subscription fees are billed at the start of each billing cycle and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current cycle.
- Cancellation: You may cancel anytime in your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Evi reserves the right to change subscription fees with 30 days’ notice.
7. User Conduct and Obligations
You agree to use the Evi Platform only for lawful purposes. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Harassing, abusing, or harming other users.
- Posting or sharing harmful, offensive, or obscene content.
- Impersonating any person or entity.
- Engaging in activities that violate laws or regulations.
Evi may suspend or terminate your account for violations.
8. Confidentiality and Data Security
At Evi, your privacy is paramount. We use strong encryption to secure your communications and personal data. However, no system is completely secure. By using the Platform, you acknowledge:

- You are responsible for your own account security.
- We cannot guarantee the security of information during transmission.

Evi does not replace professional mental health services. If you are in crisis, seek immediate help from a licensed professional or emergency services.

Evi may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evi, its affiliates, and employees from any claims or damages arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
Evi may terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. Termination may result in loss of all associated data.
14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms and related disputes shall be governed by the laws of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
